Our ministry to the most economically poor section of India's society is one of the most important aspects of our work. Since the spiritual and physical always go together, God blesses His Word every time His ministers share food along with the gospel. We rejoice to give someone a meal who would otherwise go hungry, or give people clothes and medical care which they could never afford on their own, and so to share the love of Christ.
This ministry has faced constant challenges during the past two years because the state government has gone bankrupt and cannot pay its employees. But there may be an even greater challenge ahead!

The bamboos are flowering, and many believe that this is a precursor to "Mautam," a famine which occurs every 50 years due to crop failure and rodent menace. We trust in the Lord's providence as we reach out to the hungry with food for both the body & the soul. We are praying that God will open the doors of heaven & send in blessings to help the needy during this difficult time.
