Rev Pau Gualnam from India is married to Chiin Hoih Kim and blessed with two kids Man ThianKhawl, a daughter of 4 years, and Nang SuanLian, a boy of 10 months. He grew up in a Christian family, but became Christian only in his twenties.

He graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary with Master of Arts in Educational Ministry (MAEM) in 2008. He and his wife have been praying to God for a long time to open ways and means by which they can serve their people in teaching ministry. They felt the need for having Indigenous Leadership Training Institute. Their burden was deepened by various circumstances and needs that they experienced during Pau's five years of pastoral ministry in the Presbyterian Church in India.

God has now opened a way through Presbyterian Mission International (PMI) by approving Pau as one of the PMI missionaries to serve in Manipur, Northeast India. His ministry is teaching and training his people to be future leaders of the church through the Reformed Bible Institute.

Latest Report: (updated 7/9/2008)

...brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith. 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2

Why Reformed Bible Institute?

"To be with Him and to be sent out" Mark 3:14

There are certain needs which are vital and unique for having Reformed Bible Institute.

  1. Non-availability of Reformed based Bible School/Seminary in Manipur: There are three Presbyterian denominations in our area — Presbyterian Church of India, Reformed Presbyterian Church, and the Presbyterian Church in India — without any reformed based Bible school.
  2. Evangelism outreach and church planting ministry: The ministries of Rev. Khen Tombing and Rev. Lian Tombing (both PMI missionaries) were greatly blessed by God in that area, and churches are growing very fast. The growing church needs to be followed by training leaders. The Bible Institute will be a place where students and leaders get their training and also a place for sending out leaders to reach others.
  3. The challenge of the overwhelming unbelieving society they live in: In a population of more than one billion in India only 2.5% claim to be Christian. This clearly states the need for having a healthy and strong training centre.

Vision and Goal

To make the Bible Institute an Indigenous Leadership factory for church and mission.

To make this happen we need monthly support of $500 plus one time gifts of $7000 for a car. Any amount of your generous contribution and prayer support towards this ministry will be of great investment for God's Kingdom.
