The primary focus of the Futo's ministry in Budapest is to compliment and encourage the existing Reformed congregations in Hungary. Through a renewal group called the Bible Society, Rob teaches Biblical Theology, Evangelism and apologetics, and counseling to train and equip lay leaders.
Last year, they added a monthly "All day Saturdays program" which is geared towards the single community and offers lectures and small group discussions. Rob and Tunde also lead a small group at their church that meets every other Friday night for young couples. In the summer months, they perform counseling and host week-long conferences on marriage and other topics like "Sonship." This year's book translation project is Francis Schaeffer's classic work "True Spirituality." Tunde leads their church choir and translates hymns and anthems into Hungarian. They will soon produce their second CD.

Dear friends,
I am so thankful to the Lord. The children's choir sang with the big choir on Palm Sunday at the church service. It was really festive and beautiful. Below is a picture for you to see. I wish you would be also able to hear as well…
Please pray for us on the 3rd of April, as we have the Easter concert at the afternoon in the Townhall. We are expecting lots of unbelievers. Even my brother will come with his fiánce and bringing my mom. My brother is not a christian. He is a very intellectual cardiologist. He has only seen me 18 years ago, as I directed my very first choir. He is always working, scheduled at the weekends in the hospital, but this Saturday is free for him. Please pray for the Lord's power to move in their hearts. Also a lot of my unbeliever friends will come and hear us. The gospel is presented so nicely in the program. So we need lots of prayer!
Also please pray for Rob, as he is teaching Ethics in the Bible school next Saturday, and it is a brand new topic for him to teach on. He is preparing, but it looks like he has a lots of work for next week as well, which is the Spring break for the kids. He just needs to make wise decisions — when to work and when to be with us. We are just hoping to be done on time with the preparation. He was gone for the last 2 weekends and last week as well, he attended different conferences. It all went well, and all was a blessed time from the Lord.
Praise the Lord for Rob's health. Since I sent out the last prayer request, he suddenly got better. Thank you all for praying for us. We could not do the minsitry without your strong prayer support! Thank you all!
In Christ's love,
Rob, Tunde, Hajnal and Csenge
